The steps to make a tomato hot pot recipe

I bought a box of tomatoes online, but I couldn’t eat them, so I froze them in the fridge in advance. Part of the tomato pot bottom, whether fresh or frozen, can be used, but frozen ones are easier to peel. Soak them in water and the skin can be easily peeled off.

1、Processing of tomatoes:

I bought medium fruit tomatoes at the time, but they were not big either. I put four tomatoes directly into the meat grinder and ground them into tomato sauce. When stirred, the entire tomato is frozen and very hard, so the process is completely equivalent to stirring ice cubes, even harder than ice cubes. Take a look at the meat grinder, I think it’s quite excellent.

Such a hard tomato, just stir it into this kind of smoothie state. Cut another half of the onion, and if there is celery at home, cut a little more. If there is no celery at home, I won’t put it in.

2、The stir-frying of tomatoes:

After heating the oil, stir fry the garlic slices until fragrant, add two slices of fragrant leaves, and then add the diced onions that were just cut and stir fry until soft. Put the tomatoes that were just mixed in together and stir fry for a while.

3、Tomato seasoning

Add salt to the entire bottom of the pot, slightly more salt, and a spoonful of sugar to neutralize the sour taste of the tomatoes. Add some soy sauce and stir fry for a minute.

4、Tomato Hot Pot

Add boiling water and bring to a boil for 1 to 2 minutes. The tomato pot bottom is ready.

The tomato pot bottom and soup made in this way are even drinkable, no different from those made by Hai Di Lao. I feel that eating 火鍋 at home is very casual, because before, I saw some leftover dishes in the fridge, such as spinach and rapeseed, each with a little left for hotpot, which was perfect. Sometimes when I eat hotpot, I also slice some thick potato slices, which makes it soft, sticky and delicious. You can also slice some frozen tofu, as it has a delicious taste when filled with soup.

There are still some fermented tofu with shiitake mushrooms in the fridge, and one dish that I think is worth sharing for 火鍋 is mung bean sprouts. I think after the mung bean sprouts are cooked, they can be cooked for a while longer. I think it’s quite delicious, really delicious.
